A price match policy is a retail strategy where a store agrees to match or beat a competitor’s price on a product. Here’s a breakdown of how it typically works:

Competitor’s Price

The policy usually requires you to show proof of a lower price from a competing retailer. Flow Meters must match exactly in order to match price. Also, this could be a printed advertisement, a website screenshot, or an in-store display.

Conditions and Exceptions

Most policies have specific conditions. Furthermore, these might include:

  • Valid Dates: The price must be current, often requiring the lower price to be available at the time of the price match request.
  • Product Specifications: The item must be identical in brand, model, size, and other specifications.
  • Retailer Restrictions: Some policies exclude certain retailers (e.g., clearance items or online-only stores).

Process

You typically need to request the price match at the time of purchase. Also, some stores might offer this policy only in-store, while others may allow online price matching.

Price Adjustment

If approved, the store will either lower the price at the checkout or refund the difference if you’ve already purchased the item.

Limitations

There might be limits on how many items can be price-matched or how often you can use the policy.

Overall, the goal of a price match policy is to keep customers from leaving the store for a better deal elsewhere, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

    Terms and Conditions

Often other suppliers such as Ebay or Amazon offer closeouts or even used items.  In addition, if this is the case, we will not be able to price match.  Additionally, if another site advertises a price for an item not in stock, we also will not be able to match. In addition, custom items are not eligible for PFUSA price match Policy.  Also, competitor price must be legitimate and actually available to sell.  Finally, price match does not apply to existing backorders or special orders, only to in- stock items.
